Kindred spirits on the roof cg4/8/2023 If you don't see yourself in a character or fill in the blank parts yourself, the relationships feel mostly half-assed. For anything else, it's just way too shallow.Īs nicely written as the individual scenes can be, there's no substance. Not a problem per se, if you like yuri manga for the most part anyway. It's almost funny if it wouldn't be so sad.īut alas, yuri fans mostly like it, which is. Youka is an idiot, so I could almost see her sleeping with some groupie without realizing that that's cheating.Īnd yet it's still one of THE most typical yuri works you could possibly find, with all the flaws of one-shots and short manga included as well. I wonder what Hina will do for a living to support her wife, though. Yuna/Hina are pretty inseparable, so I don't see them breaking up. They're really cute together, but we don't really get to see much of them as a couple. I like how they went out of their way to mention that Miki will be going to college near home so they can still see each other. Miki/Seina have good chemistry, though, I think they probably won't split up. As ironic as it sounds, it kinda feels like Kiri just has an adolescent crush on Tsukuyo. But on the other hand, they are pretty good at dealing with conflict. I kinda suspect Matsuri/Miyu might get on each others nerves a lot when they actually get to live together. Which couples do you see actually lasting more than a few years?
